Don't be temped to cut the hair near the eyes short. When it grows out it will just poke right into the eyeball. Grow it out, when it is ling it will lay flat. I check Uni's eyes several times a day and blot with a tissue. It's just a part of having a yorkie. You get used to doing it, it's really not that bothersome.
