Hurtful, maybe, but we usually catch outselves before full weight falls on our little ones.

I think we need to give people credit for a little intelligence! I am sure if it was a full contact, full weight impact, the OP would have already been at the vet. To cuss at her in such a disrespectful tone was totally uncalled for. Who can blame her for not coming back. I hope she does, in spite of the way she was treated. There are a LOT of members here and not all are going to start "yelling profanity" at the drop of a hat. It is almost like that poster thought she was the only one smart enough to know how serious a full contact step could be. Very insulting and demeaning!

I would venture to say that I am very intelligent. And I think most (but not all..lol) people on here are intelligent. Yet 20 people answered this post with the same reaction. 20 people were EXTREMELY concerned that this yorkie was or could have been hurt extremely bad all based on the OP's post. Only one person was yelling profanity and it was NOT me. I do NOT condone what was said and I agree it was uncalled for. It could have been said in a kinder tone. But I still think the OP should have made it clear that the yorkie was not "STEPPED ON". It was obvious that everyone who read her post read it exactly the same way and all assumed that when she said it was STEPPED ON that she meant it was STEPPED ON. Once again, a WHOLE LOT OF DRAMA COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED If the OP had posted again. Whether she KNEW that we could tell she was still logged in or not doesn't matter. She already said she kept it logged in and kept checking back for advice. When she saw that everyone was concerned, why not post again and say it was not as bad as she made it out to be?
