I live in an apartment and Meg is just fine. She has plenty of room to run around and we take walks outside. She has two pee pads: one in the laundry room (ideal) and one in the dining room (not ideal!). We had to use two pads becuase little miss picky has to "choose" where she goes to the bathroom.
Anyway, the only issue that we've had with apartment living is people walking by the hallway outside. Meg hears everything and has become quite a little barker this past month.
What is all comes down to is money. If you think a condo will be a more responsible way to spend your money, then go for it, and your dog will adjust.
