I use the pedicure petite and my girl doesn't mind it at all...When I first got it I let her check it out on the sofa, then after a day or two I turned it on and let her once again check it out. Then I tried holding it onto her nails pretending I was using it (it wasn't turned on) Then came the big test, actually turning it on and trying to do her nails. I only did one nail the first time and then gradually worked up to a whole foot, then two feet, then three, then all four. She had gradually grown acustomed to it and knows that it isn't going to harm her. Now when I bring it out to the sofa she will jump up and give me her paw so that I can manicure it
