I was wondering if the smell of the paint was bothering her? Be sure that the windows are open and Cleo has plenty of fresh air to breath while the painting is being done. Remember that dogs have a very keen sense of smell. + she is still getting use to her new home, and might be confused as to all the changes that are taking place. Give her lots of extra attention and reasurance. Kepp her away from the room that is being painted. I really think that has something to do with her behavior.
