Default My first yorkie

So tomorrow I am going to get my 1st male yorkie puppy. He should be 6-7lbs full grown and that is what I wanted. I have pics but the owner took them and didn't give them to me in a jpeg so I don't know how to post them. The pup is almost 11wks and I am so excited. In march I lost my 9lb lh female mini dachshund to a immune disorder and it was tragic and so sudden. I lost her a day before my bday and lets just say things just haven't been the same. I knew that I didn't want another lh dachshund/I just couldn't do it right now, I didn't want to compare, etc. So I narrowed my search to mini schnauzer, corgi, and yorkies...well I found my little boy and am so thrilled. I have never owned a yorkie and have done tons of research. I asked tons of ? to the breeder and everything is good and checks up...The pup is 3hrs one way and so I am going after work/talk about a long day but it will be so worth it. I am 25 and my Sophie used to go everywhere with me. I work alone and I was able to take her to work when I didn't have night school. So with the summer coming up and no summer school until July I figured this was a great time to get my new baby. Please give me any and all concerns. Like I said I only knew dachshunds. So this will be knew. I did ask about hereditary diseases or any health problems in the lineage and talked with the breeders vet. After 10years of breeding only one pup had gotten sick and that was with parvo and the owners fault for not keeping the pup up to date on shots etc...I have heard that yorkies are sensitive to food, and that they are hard to potty train but supposedly so were doxies and I never had a problem...I keep a tight schedule. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. I do believe in crate training and until the pup is used to sleeping in the crate at night I won't allow it in the bed/yet...
