It was a little rough at first. I wasn't really ready and she'd only been out of a cage a short time. She had no idea how to be a "normal" dog and live in a home with a family. I just wanted to love her but she had no idea what I was trying to do when I held her. The first couple times I went to give her a kiss she pushed her head back like she thought I was going to bite her or something. She'd never had anyone love her.
