People should have a way to have their pet food analyzed by a neutral laboratory. They could take it to the vet and they in turn could send it in to this investigative lab who could notify the proper authorities if found to be the culprit in the pets illness or death.
Actually the pet food industry should have their quality control working to avoid all of these problems before the food is bagged and shipped!!! I hope that their quality control does not consist of just 4 leged animals  They need food chemists too! |
You can send your dog's food for analysis by an independent lab but it can be a lot of $$$$$$$$$.
This is an interesting recall because there was some concern about excess zinc causing the problems with their dog food but evidently it had tested okay. Something is certainly not right though.
