How did he handle the last move? You can use that as a judge of what to focus on this time. I found with my dogs if I took them to a friends house, that they knew, the day of the move - then did the move - and then brought them home to the new place were their food/water/bed/toys were already set up that they did much better. It seemed that the chaos of the actual moving day was what upset them more then being in a new home. It's easy for us to get wrapped up in the packing and unpacking and sort of push them to the side for the moment. Just be sure to stop every now and then and give Chester some really good one-on-one attention, understand that me may be a bit more clingy then usual and just do your best to reassure him that he is safe there.
Good Luck, moving is such a mixed blessing. So much work, but a fun exciting new place!
