A Collar and leash is never a good idea on a toy breed due to their fragile necks..and can cause collapsing trachea. A harness is much safer for our little ones...I'm a big fan of the Puppia Jacket style harness...I get mine from a great seller on Ebay...there are quite a few sellers on here that sell fab harnesses...i'm sure someone will point you in the right direction!
