Sounds as if you've had some great news, some bad news, and some 'iffy' news. I believe with all my heart that you will adjust to your new routine and become comfortable and knowledgeable about you disease. A couple years ago a 4th grader that I know quite well was diagnosed with diabetes. He is doing very well considering all things. And you will, too. Hugs.
