I dont know if this is still considered play or fighting or if I should punish them or let them be.I've also never had a yorkie mix. The last dog I had was pure bred maltese, so mabye I'm not as familiar with their personality.
Please let me know if this is normal or any suggestions with what I should be doing. Thanks! |
Hard to say without seeing them in action, but at the young age they are I would be willing to bet they are just playing. I think it is good for you to intervene is one is being too rough on the other though. They will work it out, when your little boy learns that he gets to rough = no playing he will figure it out very quickly and hopefully play a little nicer. My dogs play rough with each other and it has never got serious, they are no older and you would sometimes swear there is a dog fight going on but they are never truely fighting, just playing
