Post Help with mourkie behavior problems!

Hello,
I recently got 2 puppie mourkies who are about 3 1/2 months old. One is a girl and one is a boy and they are from the same litter.

I have had them for about 4 days now and they love playing with eachother. recently though I noticed that the boy is getting a little rough when he plays with the girl. Sometimes they will tackle eachother and growl, which is normal but the boy will start doing unfair things like pulling her by the paw and her ear. A few times she has even started yalping like if she is getting hurt and thats when I step in and stop them. I have never had 2 dogs at once so Im not sure if they are still playing with eachother or fighting. I even thought they may be seeing which one is the dominent one, but when the girl starts yalping the boy doesnt seem to stop or let off her. Even when the girl stops and starts to walk away the boy just gets a running start and it starts all over again.

It just makes me really nervous to see her get hurt and me not do anything about it. I dont know if this is still considered play or fighting or if I should punish them or let them be.I've also never had a yorkie mix. The last dog I had was pure bred maltese, so mabye I'm not as familiar with their personality.

Please let me know if this is normal or any suggestions with what I should be doing. Thanks!
