Do you remember when she started her heat cycle? What signs of pregnancy is she showing? Usually the belly will start getting big around 5 weeks after being bred, some might show a little sooner and some will show a little later; it all depends on the size of the mom and how many pups she is carrying.
Sometimes with a false pregnancy the belly can get a little pudgy looking and the nipples will swell. If it has been more than 4 weeks since she 'escaped' then a vet should be able to verify if she is pregnant or not. |
