My poor baby was so matted the groomer wanted to shave her. I just picked one section a night and worked on it for 13-20 minutes. I used a conditioning spray...with a matting comb, a pin brush (the best), and a long toothed comb from bamboo products. If I focused on a small section I could wiggle out the mats and get it done. It was hard on my little baby, but, so worth it. We had lots of treats and love in the process. Now, if I brush her everyday wtih the pin brush--she's good to go!! No more mats. |
