If you have to sleep her elsewhere then try putting a shirt or some article of clothing with your scent on it in the crate with her. She will be more comfortable being able to smell you. Try an xpen instead of a crate, she can move around and have a pad if you are using them plus toys. If you do use a crate sit it where she can see you and give her a small toy. In any case let her see you. Be careful with the cord if you are using a regular heating pad. She can chew through it quicker than you think. There are heating pads for dogs that do not have cords. Good luck, she should be just fine.
