This is the cheapest Canon and I have no experience with it.

And they LOVE it. The pictures are very clear and crisp. I know it's more than you were willing to spend but it's actually on sale for $170 at Best Buy when it's usually $200. Here's a few pictures taken with that exact model.. |
The first camrea is great. It's even on sale again. it went from $129.99 to $109.99 in the cart. Works for me. I'm willing to spend more but I'm not really camrea savy. and accident prone. LOL
