I understand your frustration. Roxie also likes my throw rugs. I had a pee pad down and she'd rather go on the rug grrrr. I rarely find poop but she always manages to get a pee puddle by me. I picked up all of the throw rugs and that's when she started using the pad. Now that it's nice outside again she's ten times better about going outside. Is your yorkie trained to go outside at all? If so you might want to start a strict potty routine. If you rely soley on the pee pads you probably have to close her off to a room with the pee pad in it untill she starts getting the hang of it. I've worn out quite a few throw rugs washing them all of the time but at least they can be washed lol!!
