My yorkie is 2+ years old and my husband is about to divorce me if I don't rectify her problem. She's great about urinating on the pad but she poops on every area rug instead of the pad. She's made some connection with seeing an area rug as a pad. She has never pooped on my tile or wooden floors. Sometimes she does poop on the pad and she knows that she'll get rewarded. When she poops on one of my rugs, she'll immediately walk around with her ears back and eventually hide when I approach the rug. She definitely knows that she did something wrong. I have even tried using the spray repellent but that does not work. I don't know what else to do!!!! My husband and I are tired of walking through landmines. HELP ME PLEASE!!
