zit looks like he is treating for exocrine pancreatic insufficiency but wouldn't the lipase more likely be too low if he had that? I'm not sure that high lipase makes sense for EPI. This is the only disease that I know of where viokase is used although there may be a few others.
the I/D sometimes is the only thing that will work, so you may want to use it for now but there are other options.
Was pancreatitis ruled out with a Spec cPL?
The symptoms and lipase number seem to indicate this.
A TLI should've been done if the vet thinks it's EPI.
