I got my Krystal at 8 weeks and the breeder had them taped when we went to view them and the parents. She took the tape off and the ears stood. But a couple of days later, they had drooped again. I taped them up again, but like bows in the hair, she could get them off quickly. I taped them three times total and they stayed up on their own. I wouldn't worry about taping the ears, they can "untape" them quicker that we tape them(not much fun with the little wiggle worms
