Default Considering Breeding

I currently have one male Yorkie who has been neutered. I am considering studying the breeding process and eventually buying other Yorkies. How do I begin to educate myself on breeding? I have no experience. I once assisted a Basset Hound with birth, but it was an emergency and I had to just wing it.

The reason why I want to breed is because I LOVE Yorkies, HATE puppy mills and can't stand it that people are paying up to $3,000 for such a loving companion. I'd like to keep prices more reasonable so more people can enjoy the love of a Yorkie.

I have land and indoor space and I could buy whatever else is needed. I do not want to just dive in with complete ignorance, so what is the best way to begin the education process?

Thank you.
