Seizures in a dog under one year old are usually a symptom of an underlying condition, not epilepsy. In Yorkies, the #1 reason in a puppy older than 12 weeks (hypoglycemia) is a liver shunt.

Did you know that Yorkies are thirty-six times more likely to be born with a liver shunt than all other breeds combined? Did your breeder bile acid test her parents?

Delilah needs to have a bile acids test herself. Here is a great explanation from Dr. Center, its developer.
