Your black snake friends are probably why you don't see copperheads around. Many non-poisonious snakes kill and eat the poisonous ones. Especially king snakes- NEVER EVER kill a king snake! Hummmmm, I've never seen a snake orgy before

Your husband is my hero as well, but for a different reason. I am very proud of him for being a snake bouncer and tossing them over the wall rather than killing them. We try to keep a snake in our barn to help the barn cats with rodent patrol.
