I mean there have been breeders on here that have taken pick of the litter but when it came time to get the puppy, the person wouldn't give it up. It makes no difference if the stud owner doesn't sign the paper . They will register it some other registry besides akc. As far as stud fee, that depends on the type of dog, calibur of the dog and etc. Bloodlines, championlines and etc. A studd fee for a pet yorkie usually is around 300. For those showw studs, the price can be in the thousands.
