We put all her stuff in it and went to shut her in it while we went out for half an hour and she yelled the house down. So we swapped it for a slghtly bigger one, got her an electric heat pad and took the door off. We then enticed her in it with treats and when she went in it, we praised her lke crazy. She always goes n there now.Today we are putting the door back on, will give her time to adjust then start shutting the door fr a few secnds and open and treat her. Just introduce them to it steadily and make it the place they feel safe and loved in. Thats my view and it seems to be working............ so far! hope this helps! good luck!
thanks. my yorkie is going to be big. he already was 6.5 pounds and he is not even four months yet. His crate which was once too big is now too small so I need to get him a new one and I am going to treat him when he goes in.
