Mia has separation anxiety when I am at home and she cannot see me or find me. If I put her on her lead in the back yard, and I run in the house for a minute (she is never left alone, there is always someone in the yard) She has this terrible screeching bark like she is in horrendous pain. I think she is just trying to get my attention. Then if I go on the lawn with her and just stand there she is happy as a clam. It is the weirdest thing. She only does it with me.
