This happened last night before bed. I have to share this with all of you because it's a true testament of just how smart our little babies are. As I was getting into bed last night I was adjusting the covers and making them nice and snuggling down in them. Every night before bed, Bailey and I have a ritual he goes and stand by my night stand and I give him a little treat right before bed. I have no clue how it started but it stuck. So I had picked up his baby, put it on the bed (because he CANNOT sleep without it), snuggled in to the covers and gave him his treat. So Bailey retreated to the end of the bed to lay down and I picked up my book. I noticed he didn't lay down. he was walking in circles sniffing EVERYWHERE! He came up to my head and was sniffing, he was pacing the bed frantically looking for something. Then he comes up to me, plops his but down and stares at me. I looked at him and said what, what's wrong? My first question to him is, where's your baby? Of course that's got to be what he's looking for. I know I put it on the bed, but somehow it mysteriously disappeared. So now I got up and started looking all around the room. As I did this, I kept saying Bailey where is it, where did it go (like he was going to answer me). As I was looking under the blankets and other misc. places, he actually jumped off the bed and started HELPING me look too. He sniffed in the corner of the room and then started sniffing under the bed. Of course I have things under the bed, so he went to the other side of the bed and started looking. HE FOUND IT!!! I was so proud of him that I gave him an extra treat!!!!
