I am retired so you would think weekends meant nothing. But to tell you the truth, I think I am busier now than when I had a regular job! Not working and volunteering at the school sort of gets known pretty fast. I wind up with a lot of extra jobs. Usually I am glad to do it as I know someone else was doing it when I worked. But lately, I am just getting exhausted. Maybe it is the puppies, school, sports, and this big old house of mine that is a constant challenge.
Now that I have my whining out of the way -- Yea for the weekend from me too! I am going to lay by the pool and do nothing all day tomorrow ..... wait.....my son has a baseball showcase in another town, so I guess I will be sunning at the ballfield. LOL -- it never slows down here! |
