Voice your concerns to your vet. Usually they don't just leave animals all night (that just had surgery) with no one there. I know at my vet they have someone come in at night to do medicine and probably take them out. They probably only have one there if there's animals staying over night and not all of the time. If I were you I'd just ask to be sure about this and if this is true then tell them you'd feel better picking your baby up at the end of the day before they close. Depending on the vet you have, most will send home the same day after so many hours. You just have to becareful after the surgery that there's no jumping of any kind.
