I think the opinions you should ask for would be concerning BIL's lack of class for calling anything you choose to do with your own dog "stupid." I am guessing that you may have had to hold your tongue on more than a few things that he has done that could be deemed a couple of steps below ingenious! So, he should do the same when he fails to understand proper Yorkie grooming!
