I have read the history of the BBCA Biewer Breeder Club of America and they have the history of the breed started by the Biewers who's Yorkies supposedly had a piebald gene. A Piebald gene does not make an animal a different breed. It does not mention their Shih Ztus but I do remember the origional website pics! I also notice that many Biewer dogs are curiously colored like Shih Ztus also!

I love the so called parti Yorkies and Biewers too, I just don't think they are purebred yet, and the origional breeders don't want people to know this either for what ever reason.

If we could only DNA search the origional parents, ooh, if someone could dig up their bones..... too expensive.........
