Winston is a big boy, 5 years old and a little over 8 pounds. He is totally potty trained to go outside. But for his safety and my peace of mind, he is gated in the kitchen while we are away from home. He has his bed and his snuggle bunny, kibble and water. He is perfectly content, as a matter of fact he runs into the kitchen and jumps in his bed long before I am ready to walk out the door, and that is where we usually will find him when we come home. One of us does come home at lunch to let him outside to potty and feed him his canned food...so about 5 hours alone at a time.
