I recently fostered a 10 year old little girl that I ended up keeping because no one wanted her and she was the sweetest dog. I had a 15 and 16 yr old at the time - both were just about deaf, one was blind and the other one almost blind. They took to her very well but both of my girls were sick. The 15 year old was in early kidney failure and was getting senile. She died in March from what they now say was a brain tumor. My other one is 17 now and in really bad shape. I just took her to the vet on Tues. because she is hardly eating anymore and he thinks she won't last much longer. I don't think their condition worsened due to bringing in another baby. Good luck on whatever decision you make.
