If I didn't trust my vet, I would find a new vet. I feel pretty strongly that my vet is one of the best in my area. I don't think he would try to take advantage of me but I do know he does not know everything so I'm happy I have YT to ask questions and hear other's experiences. I used to have a holistic vet I used in conjunction with my traditional vet but unfortunately due to a family tragedy, she closed her practice unexpectedly and moved. I felt a lot better when I had her perspective on things as well as my regular vet.
