If you get your puppy from a reputable breeder who knows her lines many generations back and carefully breeds for the standard, she will be able to give you a pretty good estimate of what your puppy will weigh full grown.
The problem today is that because of their popularity, most of the Yorkie puppies for sale are bred by backyard breeders. The result is Yorkies who grow up to be adults who don't look much like what a Yorkie is supposed to. |
