The sole reason they do not accept monthly payments is some people chose not to make those either or skip out on paying entirely.

I believe it is the owner's responsibility to plan for these things...whether from insurance, a savings plan, or putting it on a credit card.

Personally if someone feels their vet is "out to get them"...they should be looking for a new vet. I have never felt that way about ours.
I hope you did not take my post as I felt the vet was out to get me.. for I did not.. but I really did question this when she did not know I could give pain meds to mara.. which no so much for the money but would have saved her from being almost on deaths door for two weeks plus.. when she should have been given sq fluids after she had the c section... we was in mild labour in the night.. to be whelping at 8 am.. baby would not come out.. so we rushed to the vets around the corner. by the time the c section was done it was late afternoon.. she needed fluids.. and I have learned that it is up to me to know these things and to be able to suggest to a vet that something should be given.. it caused much pain and heartache watching mara go through the pain and not wanting to eat or drink.. but trying to be a good momma and lay with those babies... looking like we were going to lose her at anytime over two weeks.. when I feel things could have been different.. I blame me for not knowing better... anne
