We took Angel to see the vet and she is fine physically. The vet recommends a urinalysis and wants to put Angel on an antibiotic just in case of an infection she is fighting that we can't see. She said it wouldn't hurt and suggested a derivative of Amoxicillin for 11 days and then to repeat the blood work. If the repeat blood work still shows a low WBC count, then she would recommend a bone marrow biopsy but she doesn't think it would come to that given Angel's young age. They tried to take urine from her bladder but there wasn't any. We'll have to bring in a sample.

I'm communicating with the breeder to see what she thinks. The breeder said she could just be getting over something she picked up, and the vet will test and test and she could be fine. We didn't get the antibiotics for now as we don't like to put her on meds unless absolutely necessary. We're thinking about waiting until we get the urinalysis results to decide. We have to keep Angel inside (can't go to parks) until we figure this out.

Is there any harm on putting her on antibiotics when we don't know the cause of her low WBC count?
