If you have an inside track with Villette, that would be good. You could go on the YTCA website and look for a breeder. Avoid pet shops and be careful with newspaper ads and the web. Please be sure you can spend quality time with a yorkie, if that is the breed you want, they do need it. Try to get as much family history as possible and go to the breeder's home, look at the sire and dam and see how the pups interact with each other and you. Don't pay much attention to expected weight, most breeders won't guarantee anyway. If there are dog shows in your area, that's a good way to pursue getting a pet. Your breeder should ask you a ton of questions, as well and give you about 48 hours to have your puppy vet checked. People on this site are very knowledgeable and there are several breeders.
