 I Have A Shorkie
Previousily, i had a purebred yorkie female, now I have a male shorkie, which is a yorkie/shih tzu mix. I find him just as needy as my yorkie, however, he is quite bad. I don't know if its a male/female thing. He doesn't like to cuddle and is getting into mischief all the time. I almost think it is an attention seeking behaviour. They both require alot of attention as they constantly demand to be around you. They are like velcro. God help you if you have to leave them home. I barely can get out of the door without him. My female was like that as well. I crated both dogs during the day while at work and they seemed to adapt to this quite well. Sometimes they would destroy their crates, but the majority of the time no problem. He is very very adorable and cute. He looks just like a yorkie, face, coat, etc. except his ears are floppy and he is a bit more bulkier. Mine is 11 months old and weighs almost 5 pounds.
