You evidentally dont know anything about the standard of the Yorkie breed or breed standards. We are not talking about Cockers as they are a DIFFERENT BREED with a DIFFERENT STANDARD. It is unethical for a breeder to purposely produce and breed for a fault in the standard and then charge 2 arms and 2 legs for it just because its "rare". This is for any breed, not just the Yorkie. Unethical does not mean that these breeders dont love their dogs or care for their dogs any more or less than anyone else. That is not what is meant by unethical.
AKC does not set the standard for the Yorkie,the Ytca does so they are not allowed to let them be shown as the off colors are a fault. Always have been, always will be. The off colored breeders claim that they are pure Yorkie, so they cant create a new breed to be accepted by AkC either.
And yes there are many things in the world that need to be fixed, but this is a Yorkie forum, not a world problem forum.
