Go ahead and rant away, lol, I believe the same way. While I don't think there is anything wrong with owning a parti, I suppose even a good breeder could have one since it's a recessive gene, but a good breeder won't breed for them, and certainly wouldn't charge more for it. It's really not as rare as people think. In fact, two dogs that both display the Parti color can't produce anything but Parti colored pups. So how is that unique? People like things that are different, and so this will appeal to some, but I think it's best to stay away from breeders who are one-trait breeders, i.e. rare colors, teacup size. The Yorkshire Terrier Standard is very beautiful and very difficult to obtain, so for some it's just easier to make up their own standard and call it rare.
