Yes, AKC recognizes parti yorkies. No, they can not be shown in confirmation events as the color is considered a fault. I'm not certain why you believe only byb-er's have partis...the possibility is possible in any litter providing the parents are carriers of the pie bald gene. As far as pricing I would imagine it's due to the scarcity. While the YTCA and some breeders may disagree ....I think they'd best get used to it...parti's are here and not going away.
I would also venture to guess your post and tone just offended many of the parti owners on this board.
