I saw this post and just had to comment. My son is 10 years old. He's always wanted a dog, but we've lived in apartments all the while that didn't allow them. Well, we recently bought a house a couple years ago. Small house no basement was my excuse not to get the dog. Anyways, he's always loved "Yorkies!" He's done so much research from libraries and internet to actual owners. I've always told him that it's a farily expensive dog and that he should choose another kind. Pet stores were expensive and we just couldn't seem to find a breeder. (Or did I search well enough?) One day he sugested the "Humane Society". I told him it was no way that we'd find this type of dog there. He insisted and to prove a point, I took him. Well....He's not a baby, but my "Neko" was there!!! My son went nuts, so I just had to get him! He was turned in that very day by a woman whom had him from birth until now (he's 5 years old!). He's so small and cute, he looks like a baby to us..LOL! It was said that she had a baby and for expense reasons, she had to give him up. However, he's fine, healthy and so far, we've had him a month and wouldn't trade him for the world.

In otherwords, "FAITH" lead us that day to our cutie..Keep Looking!!! Good Luck....
