I haven't ever bought Rawhide, but Bully Sticks DO get soggy when they're chewed. Bacteria can begin to grow on the wet part so it is necessary to keep half-chewed bully sticks sealed in a bag (or any air-tight container). Freezing them in an airtight bag is how I feel most comfortable.
