I apologize I didn't answer sooner, I wasn't on last night. I'm not going to be able to answer this as well as someone else might but a soft trach is basically a trach that doesn't have the "elasticity" or "strenghth" a healthy yorkie's trach would have. I'm sure someone else can come along and describe it MUCH better than me!!!
