It is amazing how much room a 4 lb Yorkie thinks she needs to sleep. They can curl up into the tiniest little balls during the day to nap, but come night time they apparently have to stretch out full length crosswise on the bed. If we could get them to sleep in the same direction as we do it would be a lot more comfortable.
They sure do take up a lot of bed. Our little Casey topped out around 5 lbs. If I accidentally rolled over onto her, she would kick me! I moved. Our bed sleepers were already older when we got them. Casey would stand at the foot of the bed and wait for us to get her down. Little Miss Clara Belle thinks she can jump down so we have to be quick when we get up in the morning and grab her before she makes a break for the floor!
