Our 7lb-er sleeps with us. I wouldn't feel comfortable with our 3lb-er sleeping with us though. With he 7lb one we certainly don't encourage him to jump off of the bed, but if he does I don't freak because he isn't fragile by any means. We've never accidentally pushed him off, or rolled on him, he usually sleeps right above my head all night.
