I won't lie - it is always hard to let them go. I have had approximately 20 foster pups in the last 2 years and every one was special. My husband wanted to adopt each one of them but since we have 4 already I was able to do what was best for them. Until now - I have 2 little ones that are so bonded they cannot be separated. The female is 12 - she needs to be spayed (who knows what they will find once they open her up), will lose almost all her teeth and may lose an eye due to an untreated laceration. Her "brother" is 7, needs to be neutered and will also lose most of his teeth. Getting a pair adopted together is hard enough without the rest of it and I have fallen for these 2. So, after 2 years, this may be my foster failure.

Please consider becoming a foster parent. We are also always in need of people who can help with transporting. Many of the pups need to be vetted and we have a great vet way up in northern PA but it is always hard to get them out there. I am on Long Island and we drive a lot but could use help between NY/NJ/PA so people only have to drive 2 hours instead of 6 or more.
