My heart goes out to you and I know how you are feeling as we lost our Spike on the same day to a tragic accident as well. It is so hard to stop blaming ourselves for not doing this or that to have kept them safer. But they don't blame us ever as their love is always so unconditional... They were proudly doing their duties and would not have had it any other way... I know how hard it is to erase the guilt we feel, but try not to beat yourself up any more... May God grant you peace during this difficult time and remember that you are in good company here among many kind hearted souls who are generous with their support and understanding as I have found that to be so true and so very comforting recently myself...
